Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PEAXIS platform and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
2. The Services
PEAXIS provides an AI-powered workforce intelligence platform including modules for hiring (PEAXIS Hire), job board management (PEAXIS Jobs), and associated features. Services are provided on a subscription basis. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use.
4. Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- Use the Services to discriminate against candidates on protected characteristics
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive software
- Resell or sublicense access to the Services without written permission
- Use the Services to violate applicable employment law or anti-discrimination regulations
5. Subscription & Payment
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Annual subscriptions are locked for the subscription period.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. You grant PEAXIS a limited license to process your data to provide the Services. We process candidate data on your behalf as a data processor. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon request.
7. Intellectual Property
PEAXIS retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, software, AI models, and associated infrastructure. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of PEAXIS IP. You retain ownership of your data and configurations. You grant us feedback rights — we may use feedback to improve our Services without compensation.
8. Service Availability & SLA
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. Our SLA details are available at peaxis.com/security. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. SLA remedies are limited to service credits and do not include cash refunds.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEAXIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO PEAXIS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Services will cease at the end of the billing period. You may export your data for 30 days post-termination. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms immediately without notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction, e.g., England and Wales], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction]. For EU users, consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.
